Also known as Winter Aconite, Eranthis cilicica have deep vibrant yellow flowers and will bloom from February to March, at the same time as crocus. Eranthis cilicica is native to western and central Asia. The name Cilicica comes from an early Roman province which is today the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. They are perfect for lightly shaded areas and woodland beds.
